Christopher Cross in Bangkok

We arrived after a 17 hr direct flight (thank God) from LAX. I slept most of the way and watched movies the rest of the time. I was like a great weekend. we had a wonderful lunch with our promoter Niti and then did a radio interview. We were also taken on a on a dinner cruise on the river. A very nice gesture. Unfortunately my jet lag set in as we pulled away from the harbor and I spent the next two hours strying desparately to stay awake.

The next day visited that beautiful Grand Palace. Just overwhelming it's detail. After a shopping spree at Jim Thompson's silk, I enjoyed a much needed pedicure at the hotel spa. the Dusit Thani is one of the nicest hotels I have visited and it's Dervana Spa is well worth the time.

The weather was HOT and rainy in the early evening.

Our show day we had a runthrough since it had been a year since I played with Christopher and Chaz Frictell was joining us on bass for the first time as well. It was really fun to play the songs again after so long. The show was awesome and very well received. I met so many cool people and one lady from India even gave me her shawl after I complimented it. Very sweet! I ended the evening with a signature mojito from the bar and listened to the the music from the local T40 band. The singers were very good.

Today I splurged one more time with a massage at the Dervana spa and now we are off to the airport to return home. Thank you Bangkok for an enjoyable visit! See you next time
